We recently had the privilege of meeting two WW2 veterans at the Military Heritage Museum in Jackson. Herbert Elfring, who is 100 years old, survived the Pearl Harbor attack, while Leonard Gyles was part of the Battle of the Bulge, which was the last German major offensive campaign on the Western Front. Their stories are truly humbling, and this meeting has made us more determined than ever to continue telling the stories of days gone.
