The @pacificseaweedindustry is a member-driven non-profit organization that is working to build and support the growing seaweed sector in BC and Canada. They are helping seaweed farmers and producers establish thriving operations through their industry and government partnerships and acting as a voice for the seaweed sector. The PSIA wants to see more seaweed in our waters and on our plates, helping to support coastal economies and a sustainable seafood system. Their vision is for a thriving and resilient seaweed industry across Canada where producers, First Nations and industry partners are supported in gaining access to opportunities within the sector.
