A couple of books I’ve recently read and truly adored. Some were anticipated releases and others completely surprised me: - ‘Heir of Storms’ by @Lauryn Hamilton Murray : this YA fantasy romance was such a great read. I went in completely blind and had the best time. There are trials, a kind-of love triangle, and I loved seeing the touching relationship between the FMC and her brothers. I will definitely continue this series. - ‘Princess of Blood’ by @sarahhawleyauthor : I devoured ‘Servant of Earth’ and couldn’t wait to pick up book 2. It starts right after the events of book 1, and if you enjoy court politics, alliances and romance, this series is for you. I’m already excited for book 3. - ‘Hollow’ by @Caroline Peckham and @susannevalenti : the twisted sisters are auto-buy authors for me now, and this was one of my most anticipated releases of the year. I adored the two main characters, their romance, and the magical high-stakes competition set in a spooky forest. The tension was incredible. - ‘Alchemy of Secrets’ by Stephanie Garber: this is the author’s debut adult novel and it was absolutely magical. I couldn’t put it down and still have so many questions (and theories). I can’t wait to learn more about the characters and the magic in the sequel.
