In complete disbelief to hear the news of @hilareenelson’s passing. I had the pleasure of working w. Hilaree on @thenorthface She Moves Mountains campaign. She was humble, generous, full of life and energy and laughter and so, so easy to collaborate with. We kept in touch a bit and I got to sit next to her on a panel later that year and listen to her talk about goals and insecurities and doubts, which was insane bc Hilaree was the first woman to climb Everest and Lhotse in 24hrs. 24 hours!!! She was unrivaled in her athletic accomplishments but beyond that she was a truly lovely and inspiring human. What a huge loss 💔 Much love to @thenorthface team, Hilaree’s family and everyone who knew her; what an incredible and unique soul, very grateful to have crossed paths with her.
