We are halfway through our nation-wide tour with New Years Day and it’s a great time to show some behind-the-scenes making of the Water Torture Cell scene from our recent music video “Undertow”! 🔥🙌💦 Alyse wanted a huge water tank in the video to represent the idea of being overwhelmed or “drowning” in a stressful situation and everyone around her just watching or monitoring without offering to help. She contacted Lady Houdini @ladyhoudini (who is an absolute badass and mutual fan of Linkin Park) to collaborate in LYLVC’s new music video. Lady Houdini loved LYLVC’s new song and agreed to provide the Water Cell and Escape Apparatus plus all the heavy chains & restraints you see in our video! 🪄🔥🙌 Kristen Johnson aka Lady Houdini is recognized as the World’s Premier Female Escape Artist and creator of the Full View Water Cell. Harry Houdini is known to have performed the water cell right around 1,000 times. Kristen is at 2,886 times and counting. Kristen assisted Alyse from LYLVC with the proper breathing techniques, Water Cell, chains, and restraints for the water tank "drowning" scenes.
