I made this video earlier this year, but resurfacing it today for my hero angel’s bday. ❤️🦋 she would have been 66 today, but we lost her way too soon to cancer. when I was thinking about her a lot on my way to work this morning, I was remembering how she always loved to put music on and just dance in the kitchen while she was cooking or cleaning. she was just always so fun like that and set the tone for everyone around her to smile and laugh. As I was feeling sad missing her on the train this morning, I turned on my Spotify on shuffle, and of course her favorite song Moondance by Van Morrison was the first to play out of the thousands of songs in my library. she definitely has a way of sending us signs when we need it most (mike and I are still convinced she sent Louie to us). she also volunteered for others and loved helping the kids in her schools where she worked as a nurse, so I’m truly SO excited to honor her and continue her legacy by volunteering at @experiencecamps next week (which will also fall on 8/24, the 5 year anniversary of her death). Love you mom 🤍 everything I do is for you!!
