Bad Habits (@badhabit.icecreams) started off as a pandemic-era hobby. But now couple Jesse Merchant Zuñiga and Javier Zuñiga are opening an adult ice cream parlor of their own on Saturday. The alums of restaurants Hart's and Contra will serve pints of miso raspberry, dill-yuzu, roasted banana coffee caramel, olive oil, and blood orange creamsicle ice cream, with plated desserts, a savory menu, and wine under the name @caletanyc at night. The hybrid restaurant and bar is located at 131 Avenue A, near St. Mark’s Place, in the East Village.
