Eman made a promise to herself to help other women in her community to find hope and solutions to cancer. As a survivor of cancer herself, she knew all too well the difficulties and taboo a cancer diagnosis brings. Eman knows how a small kind act towards others can develop into something really beneficial. Her organisation, Aid and Hope, supports women survivors of cancer in Gaza and is a partner of the Women’s Rights Fund, run by Oxfam. This flexible fund gives women’s rights organisations the freedom to invest in their own priorities, enabling them to better support their communities.
