The saddest part of this trip was the fact it had to end 🥲 Uluṟu was seriously everything we’d dreamed of and more! Beautiful, peaceful, grounding, educational, spiritual, the list goes on. Truly a bucket list trip that I’d urge anyone to go on 🙌🏼 I’ve had so many requests for our itinerary and this mini vlog is the perfect recap (that I can’t stop watching) - will also put all details below if you’d like to experience this beauty the same way we did ❤️ *we booked and paid for everything ourselves (we didn’t use a travel agent and nothing was gifted or sponsored)* ✈️ Day 1 Flew direct from Sydney to Ayer’s Rock Connellan Airport (AYQ), collected our hire car from @hertz (at the airport), checked in to Sails In the Desert (2 night stay), then went on the Uluṟu sunset and BBQ under the stars tour (we booked through @aatkings and LOVED this!) ✈️Day 2 Up early to watch sunrise over Uluṟu (within the national park - a must do), buffet brekky back at the hotel, cycled around the base track of Uluṟu with a 3hr bike hire (booked through @outbackcycling - highly recommend!) drove to Kata Tjuta to visit Walpa Gorge (stunning), then went on a Sunset Helicopter tour with @professional_helicopters (THIS WAS INCREDIBLE!), ended with dinner at Illakiri restaurant. ✈️ Day 3 Checked out of Sails and into @longitude131 (2 night stay). This is an all inclusive luxury 5 star lodge where ALL meals (4 courses for breakfast, lunch & dinner), all drinks (unlimited alcohol at any time of the day), anything in your minibar, refreshments at the pools, all tours and all transfers are accounted for (A TOTAL DREAM) 🙌🏼, we enjoyed lunch here, chatted through our itinerary then headed to the Field of Lights for a night timewalk and back to the lodge for dinner. ✈️ Day 4 Woke up to the sunrise right outside our door 🥹, enjoyed a delish brekky, walked the Longitude walking track loop, then spent the day by the pool(s). We went on a Sunset camel tour with @ulurucameltours that evening then enjoyed dinner under the stars at Table 131 (an outdoor dining experience exclusive to longitude 131 guests). ✈️ Day 5 continued in comments ❤️
