Turn End - the home of British architect Peter Aldington. Built in the 1960’s, the property is formed of wood, concrete block, and glass; with interlinked gardens providing a natural extension to the living spaces. The project, which was awarded a design award by RIBA in the 1970s, is unique in that in both the house and gardens are listed as sites of historical interest.
I recently had the opportunity to photograph Turn End, and Peter - and a selection of these are published in the latest THM magazine - @themodernhouse
The photographs also form part of an ongoing series of images in which I look at modern homes in England. More on that soon.
