Who's ready for spooky season cocktails? 👀 This month, experience #EmpressAtMidnight with a series of moody, mysterious sips! 🔮✨ Let's kick things off with @gourmetglow's Woodland Nymph 🌿 INGREDIENTS: ・45ml Empress 1908 Gin ・10ml Quatre Epices Syrup* ・10ml Caramelised Clementine Juice* ・50ml Tonic Water ・2 Dashes Orange Bitters ・Nutmeg and Cinnamon, to garnish QUATRE EPICES SYRUP: ・100g sugar ・100ml Cold Water ・3 Cinnamon Sticks ・1⁄4 Nutmeg, chopped, plus extra to grate ・8 White Peppercorns ・2cm Ginger, chopped CARAMELISED CLEMENTINE JUICE: ・4 Clementines, halved METHOD: 1. Begin with the syrup. Add all ingredients to a small pan and heat over a low heat to dissolve the sugar. Increase the heat and bubble for 3 minutes. remove and allow to cool naturally to room temperature. Strain, discard the spices and store in the fridge. 2. For the Caramelised Clementine Juice, lay the clementine halves on a baking tray and grill until charred (or use a blow torch) Once cool, squeeze the juice and store in the fridge. 3. To build the drink, add the gin, measured syrup, juice and bitters to a mixing glass with a few ice cubes and stir clockwise for 30 seconds. 4.
