My 5 year old son: Sometimes I feel like I’m bad at being a mom that I don’t know how to parent, I get funny looks in public sometimes, when my son is throwing a fit and I’m sitting on the floor next to him waiting until he can settle down and we can talk. ITS HARD. I have days we’re I’m in tears bc I don’t know how to get him to calm down and listen. ITS HARD. Theres days where gets overstimulated and doesn’t know how to deal with situations so he panics and throws things and yells. ITS HARD. It’s a super big learning curve for us as a family. But when people have conversations with me It’s like they don’t know what to say sometimes. And sometimes it’s better to say nothing at all.
