‘Organised Confusion’ table by Colombian artist Francisco Sarria. The initial sketch was inspired whilst watching a nature TV program. A herd of Impalas were chased by a predator and their legs seemed to mimic the table base perfectly, hence the name Impala. The table is a part of a series of pieces called ‘Organised Confusion’ that follow a sculptural theme in which very simple geometric forms are repeated or altered until an appearance of refined complexity full of unexpected details is achieved.
