Introducing Kyle Stockford, Boston based Painter working closely with Acrylic & Figurative Abstraction with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. His work has been placed in a variety of collections, including: Inside Out Art Museum (Beijing, China), President’s Suite, Mass. College of Art and Design (Boston, MA), and many more along the East Coast. He has also won various awards amongst his peers. As stated by Kyle, “I like pictures that aren't so clear, like a story missing details. It allows for more wonder, provokes more questions than answers, and allows the viewer's mind to wander a bit. If I can fool the eye I will, trapping broken images, patterns, pieces of paint beneath the surface. The result is a narrative almost entirely up to the viewer's willingness to envision a world we don't live in. It pleasures me to create the illusion that everything is okay, even just for a moment”.
