Pain Au Chocolat. A true story. 3 years ago I went to this exact cafe where this exact waitress sternly corrected me and told me not to order a “chocolate croissant” but instead a “pain au chocolat”. It wasn’t a friendly lesson.. it was more in the tone of “listen doofus get it right or get out.” So I’m back today to show off my new French skills and have a little fun with my friend from Chamonix.
