Jess Kimura @jess.kimura is a professional snowboarder, filmmaker and an all around force of nature. Jess has fought for female representation in snowboarding while leading by example and shattering notions of what’s possible within the sport. She shared her story recently in the @learning_to_drown_film, showcasing her intense passion and talent while opening up about her struggles with depression, grief and traumatic brain injury. Masterfully directed and edited by @ben_knight, this raw and beautiful film made me laugh, gasp and cry each of the four times I’ve watched it.
