Took Sebastian on his first ever family vacation to Lake George and here is what we learned: - staying in a 2BR house with a fire pit is a MUST. We stayed at ADK Diamond Point Lodge in their Owl Cabin and highly recommend. - the trick is to go out to eat for your toddler’s dinner while you enjoy a cocktail and an appetizer— cook at the cabin for yourself later! I don’t want dinner at 5pm, but someone can make him a hot dog! - map out the playgrounds with food lake views ahead of time— the one in Lake George Town Center was 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 - switch off each day who gets to explore during nap time and who stays home with the baby. This way you get to do what you want (in our case, antiquing) without having to depend on having an angelic toddler. Specific to Lake George: if you’re going to do a steamship ride, just choose the Minne-Ha-Ha because it’s only 1hr so if your toddler has a meltdown you’ll be able to get off soon 🫶🏻 My top recs: drinks at Adirondack Pub & Brewery, Coffee at Bear’s Cup, BOOK CABIN and antiquing at Glenwood Manor (omg!!) We had a great time and also next time maybe I’ll bring our nanny or some grandparents!!! #lakegeorge
