I can’t begin to describe how special and life-changing this past week was volunteering at @experiencecamps, a free week-long camp for children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver. It was filled with laughter, fun, tears, emotions, support, and love, while providing a place where kids can be surrounded by those who “get it” and all the fun that camp has to offer. I’m so in awe of the strength and resilience of every single kid I was fortunate to meet, and am so grateful to this organization for bringing me together with its incredible people and staff.
