Hey, Dartmouth '26s! We here at Special Collections are excited about your impending arrival. We wish you all the best during your stay here on campus and we hope that you'll make many wonderful memories.⁠ ⁠ Since we house the College Archives, we are the caretakers for centuries of documented student memories and experiences. For example, we have dozens of student scrapbooks, also called "membooks", from the early 20th century. This one belonged to Francis Gilman Blake, a member of the class of 1908, who pasted his Student Handbook in the opening pages.⁠ ⁠ To leaf through Blake's memories of Dartmouth student life, or to explore anything else in our collections, just come by whenever we're open and ask to see something cool. Also, come by our table at the Library Open House on Friday, Sept. 9, from 10:30-12:00.
