You really can feel how old Watarrka (Kings Canyon) is as you wander around this beautiful canyon. The sandstone forming the steep cliffs were deposited around 400 million years, with the sandstone at the bottom of the valley around 440 million years of age 😳 I can’t even fathom that, can you?!
