Weddings are months and years of preparation that lead up to a moment in two peoples lives that they will remember forever. Weddings are beautiful. Weddings are important. Photographing a wedding for me is more than pressing a button. It isn’t just shooting images of what happened on the wedding day, then putting them into a gallery and pressing send. To me, wedding photography is art and pure love and happiness. For me, being a wedding photographer is about connecting with my clients first and foremost. Understanding the elements of their wedding that are most important to them and then bringing my creativity to capture their day in a way that feels beautiful and tailored to them. It is about forming friendships, about putting people at ease and understanding them in a way that allows me to capture not just what happens, but how it feels too.
