Quiet, clear morning’s in the Aleutian chain are almost unheard of in the fall/ winter season but they do happen. It couldn’t believe my eyes when I peaked out my cabin window this morning back in 2012. I ran outside half naked only to be greeted by arctic winds and a heavy reminder that with clear conditions comes a bitter cold wind. This image reminds of a quiet and peaceful moment that often escape me because it’s hard for me to see them as a creative. It’s always refreshing to me to see an image that I hadn’t seen before. It’s a breath of fresh air.
