Repost @reanbrowshop How deep should we implant the ink?! 👇🏻 In theory, the difference between the different skin layers and where to implement the ink is easy. But when it comes to practice, it’s difficult to give a precise answer as the working death varies ever so slightly between each client. So how do we gauge if we’re working in the correct depth? Firstly, the pigment in PMU is always deposited in the area between the epidermis and dermis. It is difficult to see where the upper layer ends with the naked eye. Our needle is small and moves so fast that we cannot see the actual working depth. Instead, we must feel we are working in depth this is what I mean... 🌿 I teach my students how to feel the vibration of the needle hitting the skin. It should be a slight rumbling sensation that you feel with your fingertips as you’re stretching the skin and working. 🌿 You wanna listen for the sound that the needle makes when it hits the skin it is a light Velcro noise As a needle grazes along the skin This banana demo show various working depths; which one do you think is the correct one? Leave your answer in the comments 👇🏻 Proper training with strong fundamentals is essential for anyone wanting to start as a PMU artist.
