My personal reply to this interview and the individual experiences shared is that I am so often told in many ways “you don’t look anywhere near your age” or “No way are you in your 50’s!”. I know it’s all said with the best of intentions. I realize that these are compliments. What I don’t understand is what does 50 look like? Personally, I prefer how I look better now than in my later 40’s. I haven’t had any facial surgery and removed all the filler that I had two years ago because it was making me uncomfortable. I eat really well and I live clean. I definitely need to get more sleep but I work my muscles regularly and work my brain even harder! I agree that how we age is a personal choice and that women (and men), in my opinion, become even more beautiful knowing and defining who they are and having lived, loved and experienced loss. Since becoming partners with @christiebrinkley , I have become acutely aware of women either admiring her beauty or tearing her down because of it. Jane Fonda , who has been absolutely honest about her ways of coping, will go on a talk show to promote a new movie and all she’s asked is about her facelift. Is it any wonder that many celebrities would prefer not to have to defend their choices every single day? What if you went to your office and was always introduced as “Jenny, who has Botox in her forehead and had a lower facelift” when you’re there to pitch a great new idea, or sell off on a deal, or just sign contracts?
