a few months ago, i sat down with @inkedmag to talk about my silly tattoo journey. tattoos are the first thing strangers notice about me but if you know me, you’d know how little i talk about them. at 25, i told myself that i would never work for another person for the rest of my life. at 26, we started to open our first bar. since 18, i’ve had 3 near death experiences. when i was 22, i was only a few signatures away from becoming an accountant for the rest of my life. somehow tattoos are my reminder to stop being worried all the time. somehow, i convinced my family that being a model minority isn’t that important. the more tattoos i have, the less routes i can go down in my life, and i find that very freeing. i’m ugly to a lot of people but my mom thinks i’m handsome and you know, sometimes, that’s all that matters. link to full video in bio
