. ‘Sovereign Santa Fe' 2022 featured artist; Bryson ‘Goodrunner’ Meyers (Chippewa-Cree) . Bryson is from a small reservation in north-central Montana called Rocky Boy. He moved in with his grandfather and began learning the ways of pow wow and ceremonial life. Grandfather taught him life ways, language and symbols of the Cree. Bryson recently got his BFA in graphic design the IAIA (Institute of American Indian Art). “ I focus on printmaking and graphic design. I combine the two, because I utilize the designs created on the computer and print them myself; these are a combination of past and present printings because historically, printers produced their own designs on woodblock and stone and the utilization of computers today are also a way to print.” -BGM.
