Top tips: Regular trim- I would recommend getting a trim every 10-12 weeks to keep hair looking and feeling it’s best! Using the correct products- the products you use should be personal to you, always listen to your hairdresser’s advice and make sure you’re using good quality products. Always be mindful of harsh chemicals in your products. Heat and UV protection- heat protection when styling is vital, our hair strands are very sensitive and need to be cared for when using heat. Also UV rays don’t only cause damage to skin, it can have an effect on your hair which is why you need to ensure you use something like @oribe Invisible Defence to protect your hair. Silk pillowcase- if you don’t already have one, this is your sign to GET ONE! They reduce the amount of friction between your hair and the fabric. Look after your scalp- do not neglect your scalp, healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp! Use clarifying shampoo’s and exfoliate. @christopherobinparis Scalp scrub is amazing for this. Cooler showers- no, your shower does not have to be freezing cold! but adjusting the temperature to warm and not hot will help seal the cuticles. (A cold rinse doesn’t hurt, and will boost shine)
