Woooooooh!šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø WHAT A SUMMER IT HAS BEEN. One thing I know is that God is faithful and will sustain you through hard times. I buried both of my grandparents this month, a week apart. You don’t get to determine when you lose those who are closest to you, all you can do is cherish the present moment you have and appreciate it for what it is. That is one thing my art has taught me. Very few moments will ever be perfect, most are peppered with both joy and hardship, but what we are able to learn is truly the gift. I guess there’s a reason why they call it the present😊! Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, love, light and the support you all give me! I don’t take it for granted! I can’t believe it has been a month since the end of the Opera Theater of Saint Louis’ summer 2023 season. I am so happy share my adventures in Saint Louis with you all! This summer, I had the opportunity to make my debut with OTSL singing the role of Andy in a new adaptation of Scott Joplin’s Treemonisha by Damien Sneed and Karen Chilton, directed by Rajendra Ramoon Maharaj, conducted by George Manahan, and choreographed by Maleek Washington. I had the opportunity to cover Sam Polk in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah, as well as Ferrando in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte. I sang scenes as Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin on our Center Stage concert with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. I’m grateful to this company and the administration for the opportunity to be featured in many of the standard repertoire roles I have dreamed of singing for years. I’m thankful for the laughter and the great times that I shared with colleagues and friends. I am so humbled by your talent and will always treasure the time we spent together! I’m Thankful to my teacher, @struinok , for your continued, wisdom, encouragement, and support. You have blessed my life more than you’ll ever know. Long story short, this is a summer I will never forget! Much love always! #averygratefultenor
