Happy Pride from our family to yours! 🌈 You can change the world by being yourself and supporting others to do the same. Our individual and collective genders have the power to evolve language, shift norms, reimagine constructs, and dismantle oppressive systems. When we put off the adaptations that society needs to make to be more gender inclusive, we miss opportunities that could benefit and celebrate everyone’s individual experience of gender— all year long! The queer and trans communities cannot compensate for the work we need to do as a society to create a more gender inclusive world. Grateful for those who fought for the rights I have today. Let us honor and act on the change these trancestors helped to spark.
