The Met’s Safer Neighbourhood Teams are embedded in the community. Good to join them today on one of their regular patrols. Local neighbourhood engagement must be the cornerstone of the Met’s efforts to keep crime down and rebuild public confidence. This needs to happen alongside strong investment in prevention that puts communities at the heart of local solutions – just like the @londonvru funded MyEnds programme which we’ve seen in action today.
