SHE GOT FUNDING!! Recently I received a Develop Your Creative Practice grant from Arts Council England @aceagrams to develop my practice of "Movement in Film". Over the past couple of years I have been making a transition from full time Performer into my own understanding of a self-led multi-disciplinary Artist. Its been a journey of unblocking, esteem building, business sense, boundaries, energy shifts and learnings. I've engaged with "The Artists Way" as well as 12 step guidance. Ive been supported by mentors, collaborators, neighbours and friends. As a Divergent and Queer human it has been essential to me to understand what is sustainable, workable and shiftable to meet my needs so that I can thrive. I have practiced asking for help, listening, doing and working through emotional blocks. I feel so incredibly supported and thankful. I also feel fiery and have so much to say.
