today i switched from my old insulin pump to the brand new Omnipod 5! it's so exciting because it doesnt have any tubes coming off of it like regular pumps and it doesnt need to clip to anything. the best part is, it integrates with the dexcom which is a continuous glucose monitoring device. it can adjust my levels itself! (that is, when i actually get a new dexcom cuz switching insurance is apparently a 6 month ordeal...) regardless, SO happy to have a device that makes my life sooo much easier!! i can comfortably put it places other than my abdomen and avoid further scarring. it's much less obtrusive.
