I grew up seemingly happy, but I struggled deeply with my mental health. In the middle of high school, I found working out to be a more effective alternative to prescription medications, which turned out to be life changing for me. Even though my history of anxiety and depression isn’t ideal and I wish so badly things had been different, I’m so glad I have a toolbox full of first hand experience to aid my kids with.
