@slizzardqueen has releases her third single ‘I Tried’ today! • This was the first clip we made, back during lockdown times. Her forthcoming EP has a lot of subject matter based around death and rebirth, each song focusing on different aspects of the process. ‘I Tried’ for me, felt like a purgatory phase, somewhere between the death and rebirth, a reflection on the end, through a looking glass. For the visuals I didn’t think anything solid, anything grounded would work, so I really wanted to experiment with a different perspective of video work. I really wanted to push a visual of the intangible that would represent this purgatory state, floating in a reality fallen apart, if that makes sense. I really can’t thank le Sliz enough for letting me roll with this interpretation.
