It’s me! 😅 I never thought I’d write an article for a magazine, let alone be featured on the cover. Both of these honors and opportunities to share my story were given to me by @carrot_flowers_z and the amazing team @trailrunnermag. I’m so grateful to have been supported and encouraged as a writer throughout the process! Writing is actually harder than it seems! But with an EXTREMELY supportive editor and friend it came through! 😀 I had no idea when I started writing this article or was told I’d be featured on the cover that this would be the final print edition of the magazine! It’s bittersweet because I feel like picking up a magazine is a very intentional and grounding experience. I’ve felt I have connected more deeply with the content and learned about all the amazing people that make up our community differently than I would have if I had read on my phone. That being said, the work that TR is doing in our community is so important and I will continue to be a supporter online! There are so many amazing people out there of all different backgrounds, shapes and perspectives and I am so thankful we have an outlet like TR that lifts diverse voices of all kinds! . . . #trailrunning #trailculture
