Thank you, 2020. ✨ You’ve been a teacher like none other. Below is what I learnt. Let me know your biggest takeaways from this year have been. 🙏🏼 And most importantly of all, I hope you all can leave behind what doesn’t serve you and move into this new year with a sense of lightness and hopefulness. You deserve it. Here are some of my lessons: - A chocolate free year is a really annoying idea; do not repeat. 🍫 - Boundaries, on the other hand, are bloody brilliant. Dive deep within and figure them out. Once done, implement at all times. 💃🏼 - Moving to a city you don’t know anyone in on the other side of the globe at the very start of a global pandemic sounds foolish, but was, in fact, a visionary stroke of luck. 🍀 - Self love shall always and forever be the most important kind of love to cultivate. All else will flow freely and beautifully if you let it. ❤️ - Speaking of which, we accept the love we think we deserve. 🥰 - Hugs are essential. Cherish them even more once ‘legal’ again. 🤗 - A healthy body and mind have infinite worth. Invest in both. 🥦 - Temporary discomfort is an investment in your future self. Uncomfortable and liberating - that’s what growth feels like. Enjoy the process. 💪🏼 - A shift in perspective has the power to flip the world as you know it upside down. Try it out more often. 🙃 - Don’t buy into people’s potential. When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time. 😎 - Use social media with caution. Just like in real life, follow what feels empowering, what challenges and encourages inner growth, what inspires to create. Let go of the rest. ✖️ - Austrian bread is one of my love languages. 🥐 - Create more than you consume. Create love, art, memories, kindness; create more. Forever. ⚡️ Feeling endlessly lucky to have moved up and down the literal and figurative mountains of 2020 and now be able to finish it off with a grateful and happy heart.
