Margarita Infused Donuts 🍩 These are donuts with a key lime cream cheese glaze with key lime zest and finished with Maldon flakey salt. It’s sweet and tangy with a kiss of Salt reminiscent of the flavors of a classic lime margarita. This was inspired by this really dope donut I had in LA 🌴 at @trejosdonuts 😝 Donuts: 1 cup whole milk, warmed slightly 1 Tablespoon active dry yeast 1/3 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 6 TBSPN unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon salt 4 cups all-purpose flour (spoon & leveled), plus more as needed 1 – 2 quarts vegetable oil Glaze: “1 Shot “😏 @herradurateq 4OZ of Softened Cream cheese 2 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted 1/3 cup heavy cream or whole milk (I prefer cream for thicker consistency) 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract Zest & Juice of 1 Lime #Donuts #TREJOSDONUTS #DESSERTS @trejos.tacos
