“Instant Scenario Timeless Wardrobe” is a special exhibition BAICAI designed for the Fall Winter 2022 Collection by RUOHAN Womenswear. The design wraps itself around both the vintage and the future to extract the eternity of the instant, creating a timeless and soundless theatre. We hope to show the wardrobe that is often overlooked in life. We want to pinpoint the space where the clothes exist, between the body and the wardrobe. Clothes are often laid around in daily life, on the chair, floor or table, etc. The state of such existence is what we want to capture, the wardrobe that is actually everywhere. All the clothes are positioned in a casual manner throughout the space, modeling the “daily” existence of actual clothes, hence the Instant Scenario Timeless Wardrobe.
