the day after i wrote “better off,” a few days before we submitted the masters for release, i felt like i still had things to say. i wrote this in an hour over a splice loop, transposed it down three semi-tones (til the key felt emotionally right), & replaced the piano w/ @nicotheowl because he has perfect pitch & kept the pocket gangsta. #unsignedartist #rnb #independentartist
