Here is our local coconut plucker Rakesh. He harvests coconuts from over 20 trees in a day and always makes sure to throw down a few tender coconuts to beat the heat on hot summer day! Every time he climbs a tree, he scans the surroundings and creates a bed of palm leaves to cushion the falling nuts. Rakesh strategically throws the coconuts without breaking any pots, tiles or damaging any plants in our garden. Rakesh can look at a coconut and tell you if it has sweet water or not.
