Who else loves vinyl records? 🙋 During the #2022Folklife Festival, visitors across generations gravitated toward archivist and artist Mohamed Al Jneibi's guided audio tour of vintage Arabic records. For Al Jneibi, his preservation of the tapes, vinyl records, and publications exhibited at the Festival doesn’t just serve as a form of representation, but also as his own public homage to Emirati artists. Visitors had the opportunity to engage with the music that defined the United Arab Emirates in the 20th century and some even left with great music recommendations.
