I really loved this week's conversation with psychotherapist Estelle Frankel. Throughout her work, Estelle searches for truth in ancient, sacred texts, particularly the foundation of faith: Trust, letting go, and the uncertainty that results from ceding control. "Not knowing" is tough for all of us. Estelle is a deep thinker about questions like this, as well as the intersection between spirituality and psychology, and what feel like essential truths to all of us, regardless of the denomination of our faith. I particularly love the way that she thinks about the polarity of good and evil, the essential components of each, and the way we've tried to reduce God. (Transcript is also up on the site.) Thanks for listening, rating, and reviewing! (Also, I found Estelle thru @susancainauthor and the golden bibliography of Bittersweet—thank you Susan!)
