When I first started writing songs they were solely to express myself. I didn’t really have a sense of the impact they could have on others. Then as I started to get a sense of what music was capable of I started thinking of songs as having destinations. I’m now in the writing room thinking, “If someone is going through what I’m going through and I get this right this can really help someone.” I started understanding that with certain songs someone would be driving in their car unpacking emotions they didn’t even know they need to. So insanely grateful for an audience to get to do this with. It makes me feel so connected to all of you. We are all so CONNECTED. ❤️ @zaraya_mannel
