Sometimes I’m self conscious of my body. More specifically, my belly. It’s either something I feel bad about because of impossible to meet beauty standards that have been drilled in my head since I was a tween. Or it’s because I don’t like when it’s fetishized. (We can appreciate plus size bodies *without* doing that, ya know.) Either way, there are times I see photos — like this one — and those insecurities come to the forefront. Even though I’ve probably posted a million photos at this point where you can see it pretty easily. I can’t explain why this photo makes me feel that way more than others, but regardless, I’m posting it anyway. Because the more we normalize bodies and bellies like mine, the less we have to feel bad about them. Not just for me, but for the young girls currently finding themselves and their confidence. At least, I hope that’s what happens. So here I am, posting a photo that made me feel insecure, and saying f*ck it and posting it anyways. 🙃 Hope this helps someone out there realize it’s more than okay to look like this, to wear pretty lingerie and be confident and own who you are, even if you have your insecurities. ♥️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #plussize #plussizemodel #alternativecurves #allbodiesaregoodbodies #goldenconfidence #fatbabe #curvesarein #plussizelingerie
