This generous and compassionate, pointed and poignant artist has incorporated this cute (but apparently dangerous) animal in everything from paintings to costume jewelry. Here they are, hand drawn on a lamp that is practical, decorative, sweet and significant as a work of art. I am proud to call Rob an old friend, and I admire his artistic commitment to all of us in and out of the world of art. I also admire his political consciousness that has made Rob and his partner, Jonathan Horowitz (who also donated a fantastic drawing!) activists who continue to make a difference in our fight for equality and justice.I am so grateful to Rob for his generosity to TDC, and also for the unique and clever way he has fulfilled our Drawing mandate. Home decor! Of course! I want this! Who wouldn’t?
