Just received this🙌🏽!! Honoured to have been invited by The American College of Chest Physicians @accpchest🫁🫀 to present my case of a patient with a Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection with COVID-19! CATCH ME IN NASHVILLE this October🎤!! It has not been widely reported but patients with COVID-19 have experienced tears/ruptures within the coronary arteries (blood vessels that provide blood to the heart itself), and can lead to a presentation of a heart attack! My particular patient was a fortunate catch based on persistence in wanting to pursue the work up despite not having obvious heart attack symptoms. Man I’m too excited, you don’t even know how much work I’ve been putting in over here, I’ve been swamped, but I’m telling you I’ve been feeling so blessed with everything that’s been taking place in the background! #grind!!
