Well this is tremendously exciting @hqstories have released my #historicalfiction novel SPARE BRIDES with a sumptuous new cover. Those of you who have been reading me forever will know I have written 2 historical novels, for many of you, this will be a surprise. SPARE BRIDES is the story of 4 women in the 1920s who post war were among the many women considered ‘surplus to the empire’ as there were no longer enough men to go around. This generation of women were incredible, they independently forged ahead, finding brave new paths despite restrictive social norms. We owe them all a lot!
