“Home for me is the NORTH.” - Pat McAfee • Ohio State defeats Tennessee 42-17 to advance to the Rose Bowl against Oregon. • It was an absolute dream being able to cover the first ever playoff game in the shoe for Ohio State Athletics. Growing up an Ohio State fan I knew the moment I saw we had a home playoff game that I was making the 8 hour drive back from New Jersey solely for that game. Having 102,000 people singing this song as the Buckeyes went up by two scores was easily a core memory for me. Walking up the sideline after a Brutus skit looking fans in the eye, passionately singing this song, was just insane to me. Never did I think I would have this sort of privilege, but I am so grateful to be here.
