Kelsey has always supported me in every single way so it was no surprise to me when she enthusiastically took on the role of Producer for my next big project. What was surprising, however, is how our relationship came to life in a work environment. A good partner always has your back, is ready to jump in and help, and hypes up your ideas. A great partner does all that and also has the guts to ask the hard questions, tell you the hard truths, and challenges you to do better. As an artist I’m sensitive about my work and while I like to think I take critiques pretty well, it’s tough to hear notes on my art no matter how big or small (and it’s even harder to deliver that news to a Cancer sun, Aquarius rising). Growth, for the most part, doesn’t come from your successes, it comes from the areas that need work, so thank you for allowing me to be a work in progress and for taking me on in this new way. I’m good on my own but with you, I’m infinitely better— You’re the real MVP, babe 🥂
