Huge congrats to SCARPA athlete @gabejoyes for winning the El Vaquero Loco 50k after coming back from an unexpected, nasty injury a few months ago.​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​​ "I always tell athletes that I work with to believe in themselves and trust the process. I had to remind myself of that daily over the past two and a half months as I clawed my way back to fitness. Some days it was hard to do this, but the only way to the finish line is to keep moving forward so that is what I did. El Vaquero Loco was a great test to see if I’m ready for whatever comes next, and I’m really pleased with a first place finish and even more stoked about a solid time under exceedingly drippy conditions." -Gabe
